ARCH 371 - Architectural Design and Presentation


Course Description
This course, as a theoretical support for the associated cap stone project, is structured in seven parts: 1. Definition of building type in focus 2. Analysis and interpretation as well as use/application of a professional building program 3. Review and analysis of Project Standards 4. Case study of national as well as international contemporary building typologies 5. Review of contemporary design approaches and concept generating methodologies 6. Research and develop appropriate sustainability measures enhancing cap stone project`s long term performance 7. Study, analysis and development of graphic communication strategies to convey project aims, objectives and theoretical rationale.
