CPMT 2020 - Introduction to Construction Project Management

Course Description
The Introduction to Construction Project Management course introduces you to the project cycle in terms of its conception, planning and execution, and to the factors that underpin the success of construction projects. This course emphasizes the project manager as an effective leader in managing construction projects at each stage of the project cycle. You will discuss delivery methods, the management of field operations, and administration of the construction contract, contract documents, project organization, supervision, working with owners and design professionals, control of cash flow, procurement, management of subcontractors, job records, contract changes and payment procedures. Working in a multi-team environment and examples related to field construction are emphasized.
