GEOL 380 - Exploration Geology
Course Description
This course introduces the student to the mineralogy and depositional environments of the two major sedimentary rock types - sandstones (clastics) and limestone and dolomite (carbonates). The second half of the course deals with the geological history of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin with an emphasis on the periods of economic importance.
