Course Description
Heavy Oil and Natural Gas Processing provides a valuable overview of the oil and gas industry from the drilling field to the refinery including a history of exploration in Canada, and the use of modern-day sophisticated techniques to extract oil and gas. The focus is on petroleum and natural gas products, industrial processes, and safety measures. You will examine the properties of natural gas, different methods of extraction, and the basic processes used in gas processing plants and for the refining of petroleum products including hydrocarbon processes and fractionation.
