Course Description
Includes topics on BC production and royalty reporting; unitization, AB gas royalties & triggers, AB valuation of gas and products, AB gas royalty-allowable costs, AB crown royalty invoice, and revenue accounting.

Classroom Students
- As of September 1, 2015 all students beginning the CAPPA program after June 30th, 2015 are required by CAPPA to complete a basic Financial Accounting course prior to entry into Level 4 of the CAPPA program, see CAPPA’s website, Pre-requisites & Graduation Requirement.
- SAIT’s OGPA 201 Financial Accounting for Production Accountants meets this requirement. Please see Professional Development Courses to register.
- Basic Financial Accounting Courses from other institutions can be considered.
- Additional CAPPA Requirements: Petrinex modules.
