EMED 216 - OBGYN and Pediatrics Course Description OBGYN & Pediatrics will focus on the pathology, assessment and management of common obstetrical, gynecological and pediatric illnesses and diseases. Neonatal emergencies will also be studied. Pharmacology specific to these patient cohorts will be emphasized. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification will be awarded upon successful course completion.
