LDSH 168 - Making Decisions

Course Description:
Although no leader is a perfect decision maker all of the time, there is enough concrete information about the decision-making process to improve a leader’s batting average. [This unit] investigates decision making - the process of identifying and then selecting a course of action to solve a specific problem or meet a specific goal. This process should be rational, intelligent, and systematic. Each component of the unit contributes to an understanding of learnable steps that can enhance the process of decision making, whether a personal decision, a group decision, or a decision with implications for an entire organization.
