CMPC 102 - PLC-V Applications


Course Description:
This course provides the client with the necessary information and resources required for develop a PLC-V Program using basic instructions for the Allen-Bradley system. Topics covered are: Project organization, complete loops including TC’s, RTD’s, speed pickups, analogs and digitals inputs and outputs including mapping and scaling in the plc,  one shot (ONS, OSR,OSF) instructions, timers, counters, math instructions, move instructions, data conversion, comparison instructions, mathematical instructions, program control instructions, analog signals, and analog configuration. Introduction to the ladder logic IEC programming language, introduction Data Highway Plus. ICOM PLC-V programming software, and the PLC-V processor will be used.  The students will design, connect, program and troubleshoot the operation of many practical industrial control applications.
