LDSH 006 - Accountability in the Workplace

Course Description:
The term “accountability” is often used interchangeably with the term “responsibility”. The two words are, in fact, distinct. “Responsibility” is a duty or task that is accepted or assigned.  While accountability is associated with responsibility, a person who shows accountability for their work does so with quality and consistency. Accountability reflects ownership and trust.  The person who demonstrates accountability is able to explain their results, rationalize their actions and produce the results they were responsible for delivering.
