PREP 003 - CELPIP Preparation Listening


Course Description:
The CELPIP preparation course is designed to prepare candidates to take the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) test.  The CELPIP-General Test is designated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) as proof of English language proficiency for those applying for permanent resident status in Canada. As a student in this preparation program, you will learn a variety of language skills and strategies for succeeding in the listening module. Candidates in this preparation course will become familiar with the test format and performance expectations, learn about the CELPIP question types and how to respond to them, improve their vocabulary, improve their listening skills, and become confident CELPIP test takers.

Technical Requirements
Candidates taking the CELPIP exam must have a CLBA score between 3 and 7.  Students with CLBA scores lower than 3 or higher than 7 are not eligible to take the CELPIP test or prep course.
