Program Description

Over the past three decades, SAIT Polytechnic has become a trusted leader in the training and development of oil and gas operators and power engineers worldwide. The Gas Process Operations program covers technical knowledge about field and plant operations, plant equipment, plant processes and auxiliary equipment/instrumentation, as well as underlying concepts, basic background and plant safety. Upon completion of this four-level certificate program, new entrants in the oil and gas industry (mid-stream) will be able to work in gas plant operations as entry-level gas plant operators. This training will also benefit anyone who requires gas process operations knowledge to do his/her job more effectively. This program consists of a theory component and knowledge self-assessments (quizzes and final exam.) It is delivered in an interactive, self-paced, online format supported by phone, email and in-person (at SAIT) access to dedicated, industry-experienced tutors. You have up to five years to complete this program.
