Program Description

Over the past three decades, SAIT Polytechnic has become a trusted leader in the training and development of oil and gas operators and power engineers worldwide. The Liquefied Natural Gas Process Operations program covers technical knowledge about LNG operations and maintenance, LNG plant process operations, plant equipment, and auxiliary equipment/instrumentation, as well as underlying concepts, basic background and plant safety. Upon completion of this four-level certificate program, new entrants in the oil and gas industry (mid-stream) will be able to work in LNG plant operations as entry-level LNG plant operators. This training will also benefit anyone who requires LNG process operations knowledge to do his/her job more effectively. This program consists of a theory component and knowledge self-assessments (quizzes and final exam.) It is delivered in an interactive, self-paced, online format supported by phone, email and in-person access (at SAIT) to dedicated, industry-experienced tutors. You have up to five years to complete this program.
