Rope Access Training

Description

Industrial rope access is a growing part of the maintenance and construction industries. Our rope access training program is in line with international standards and is industry recognized. This qualification is designed to enable qualified industrial tradespeople to access their normal tasks in a safe, efficient, and low-impact way. Common trades on the ropes include NDT, inspection, electrical, rigging, and painting. There is a three-level certification structure. Candidates should expect a mentally and physically challenging program as they are introduced to the wide range of access techniques required to pass the independent assessment on the final day. Safety is an overriding concern during training and assessment. It should be noted that this program requires a reasonable degree of physical and mental dexterity as well as an aptitude for working at heights. The training is mainly practical with emphasis placed on learning to perform the techniques safely and efficiently. The trainees are individually evaluated on the final day of the course.
