ENTR 003 - Start-Up Basics 2: From Idea to Action Course Description You have now established a strong idea that consumers are excited about, but what’s next in the process? This workshop teaches you to answer that question. The workshop will begin with a business assessment - determining your key priorities along with the development of an action plan. From there, you’ll learn to avoid the most common start-up failure; a weak value proposition. With the mentorship of your experienced instructor, you will develop a strong value proposition for your idea that will convert your deep customer understanding into a successful commercial venture.
Learners will work to put their ideas through a customer-centered market-needs analysis and experience initial product-market fit. By the end of the workshop, you will have a detailed and viable action plan to tackle the most important challenges your venture will face as you move forward.
A key component of the workshop is the hands-on component of the workshop which requires at least one-half day to be spent outside the classroom, interacting with potential customers.
