Course Description
Basic features and commands. Topics include hardware & software, theory, command entry, special features, placing 2D geometry, element manipulation, use of views, grids, text, levels, element symbology.

This course contains 1-3 hours of independent learning for every 3 hours of instruction.

Required Course Material: Microstation V8i Training Manual 2D Level 1.

Course Material is available for purchase from the SAIT Bookstore for Continuing Education materials.


Special Notes for Study at Home Courses:

Your course will start the day your registration is processed and your end date is based on the length of the course. This is a 14 week course.

A trial version of the Microstation software will be provided. You will receive directions on how to download a student trial version upon registering for the course. All students are responsible for ensuring that their computer and software meet the minimum requirements.
