SCMP 126 - Motion Commotion (Gr. 4-6) Course Description Discover what makes a simple machine move or how a pulley pulls and experiment with different designs and materials. Using various objects, a dose of creativity and a touch of physics, create your own task-oriented machine based on those created by Rube Goldberg. At the end of the week, cheer on your contraption in a class competition.
Essential Skills: Oral communication, Thinking, Working with others
NOTE: Oversized take home item.
- For youth entering grades 4, 5 or 6 in September.
- Register using your child’s name.
- Registration for this program closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the program begins. Late registrations will not be accepted..
