CBMK 111 - Cabinet Making II Course Description Expanding on the skills learned in Cabinet Making I, this intermediate course emphasizes safety and the effective use of woodworking tools and materials.
Working with sheet goods and a shop drawing, you will complete a project using basic kitchen cabinet construction. In addition to learning the basics of specialty tools for joinery, you will learn how to applying plastic laminate, edgebanding methods and how to install adjustable shelving and concealed hinges.

Learners will be responsible for providing their own Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approved safety boots. Safety glasses will be provided by SAIT. Learners must provide their own 8m/26ft tape measure (metric required) and writing utensils (a 2H pencil lead is recommended for shop use).
