SCMP 130 - Home Builder’s Design, For Girls (Gr. 7-12)

Course Description
designing your dream home. Model your dream design, inside and out, using the 3D computer modelling software, SketchUp™. Also, explore the fundamentals of design and look to the future with green building methods. Hands-on activities teach you the basics of residential framing and carpentry and the skills needed to turn drawings into reality. At the end of the camp, take home a model of your dream house.
Essential skills: Digital technology, Document use, Reading

NOTE: Basic computer skills required.

For youth entering grades 7 through 12 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
