CBMK 112 - Cabinet Making III Course Description Furthering the skills developed in Cabinet Making II, this advanced cabinet making course equips you with the knowledge and hands-on practice of specialized woodworking techniques.
With a strong focus on safety and the effective use of materials, you will learn and practice traditional joinery, construction of dovetail drawers, frame & panel doors, and mitered base moulding within the completion of the course project.
Sequencing complex projects, cove cutting with your table saw and installing butt hinges are some of the other techniques explored in the course.

Learners will be responsible for providing their own Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approved safety boots. Safety glasses will be provided by SAIT. Learners must provide their own 8m/26ft tape measure (metric required) and writing utensils (a 2H pencil lead is recommended for shop use).
