SCMP 115 - Inspired Jewelry, Intermediate

Course Description
Go beyond the traditional beads and hemp and design jewelry in a variety of mediums. Learn new ways to sketch and plan, and create jewelry from a variety of techniques to make your own innovative handcrafted treasures.

Additional Requisite Information:
Register using your child’s name. Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MT) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.

This camp requires that all participants wear closed-toe shoes (open-toed or sandals will not be permitted into the shop) and long pants. Steel-toed boots are preferred but not required. Rubber boots are also appropriate footwear. Do not wear canvas/cloth shoes, as the sparks may burn through the material. Participants must wear long pants and appropriate clothing (no loose clothes that could get caught in power tools). Coveralls are preferred. At the end of camp, all campers will take their welded creations home.

SAFETY NOTE: Eye and hearing protection will be provided. Campers are required to adhere to the safety precautions outlined by the instructors; safety infractions may lead to removal from the camp.
