EXAM 004 - IELTS Exam

Course Description
IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, assesses the language ability of people who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. It uses the highest international standards of language assessment. IELTS assesses four language skills, including listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Tests are offered in two formats: Academic and General Training.

The Academic format is applicable for post-secondary entrance, for graduate-level entrance requirements, and for membership in some professional organizations.

The General Training format focuses on general survival skills for purposes of secondary education, work experience or training programs in countries where English is the primary language. People migrating to Canada must take the General Training test.
