PROJ 219 - Project Control and Closing

Course Description
In order for a project to be properly executed, critical systems and processes are required to ensure the project adheres to approved scope, time, cost, and quality baselines. This workshop, based on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) latest PMBOK Guide, focuses on overall project change control, scope control and verification, schedule control, cost control, earned value management, quality control, and risk monitoring and control. Because projects rarely go exactly as planned, we’ll cover effective preventative and corrective actions as well. You will also learn the importance of properly closing a project from an administrative and human resource point of view.
