PIPE 106 - Corrosion Theory

Course Description
In this course you will learn about the terminology and scope of corrosion in the petroleum industry. You will study the basic concepts of corrosion in pipelines and associated equipment, including electrochemical, different forms of corrosion, corrosion controls, and corrosion monitoring systems. This course is divided into four modules with an emphasis on pipelines with sacrificial anodes and impressed current cathodic protection systems.
