PIPE 113 - Overview of Pipeline Operations
Course Description
In this course you will learn about the types of pipelines and products that are transferred by pipeline in the oil and gas industry. You will also learn about the common equipment associated with pipeline operations including isolation valves, pigging, gas compression, and fluid pumping equipment. This course also covers the general procedures for the safe operation of pipeline systems along with the identification of common pipeline repair methods and techniques.
