SAFE 164 - It’s Your Move

Course Description
It’s Your Move has been designed to address an Alberta Health Services (AHS) provincial initiative to reduce workplace injuries related to patient transfers. Focus is placed on the principles of safe patient movement, proper body mechanics and types of patient transfers. Learners will have an opportunity to practice safe lifting, transferring and positioning of patients in a lab setting.
