SCMP 136 - Green Energy (Gr. 7-9) Course Description Learn how scientists and engineers are using technology to produce clean energy. Explore the technology behind solar, wind, hydro and other forms of renewable energy by actually building it! Visit SAIT’s green energy labs and tour the Green Building Technology Access Centre which demonstrates how renewable energy is already at work in today’s society and could improve future building technology. Build, race and take home your own solar-powered model Formula 1 race car.
Essential skills: Continuous learning, Thinking, Working with others
- For youth entering grades 7, 8, or 9 in September.
- Register using your child’s name.
- Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
- Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
