WELD 140 - Ornamental Metal Works
Course Description
Learn how to create beautifully functional features out of iron, such as gates, fences or a vine climbing trellis.This course provides an introduction to ornamental metalwork in part one and an opportunity to complete more advanced projects in part two. Learn techniques such as: layout, cutting and assembly, hot work and cold bending, MIG welding and oxyacetylene torch work. The emphasis is always on creativity, having fun and being safe. In part two, add an arbor to your gate or make another section of railing or fencing.
