BAKE 101 - Cake Decorating


Course Description
Learn the expressive art of cake decorating from our renowned chef instructors at SAIT. In this introductory course you will experiment with piping techniques, the use of fondant, and the creation of chocolate and royal icing decorations to adorn your cake.

During class you will use a Styrofoam cake provided by SAIT.

Students will need to bring their own basic cake decorating kit.

  • Rose nail
  • Small rose tip
  • Scissors
  • Paring knife
  • Medium star tip
  • Small star tip
