AQUA 119 - AFLCA Resistance Training Course Description Learn to effectively and safely guide participants through weight training activities. Course will cover topics such as leading, shaping, toning, circuit, introductory weight training programs, monitoring fitness centre, and/or weight room orientation, techniques and precautions, exercise analysis, design, anatomy program design, specialty background, safety considerations, training methods, nutrition and drugs and resistance training with women, older adults and youth. AFLCA Exercise Theory must be completed prior to participating in this course.
