Course Description
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider - Renewal is for healthcare providers working in a hospital or non-hospital setting who wish to review and update their skills and knowledge regarding cardiopulmonary arrest in children and infants.

Additional Requisite Information:

Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada Healthcare Provider (Level C) CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) within the past 12 months and current PALS provider registration (within 6 months of expiry)
Health professional registration as: MD, DDS, RN, EMT-P, RT, Military QL-6 or above

Students are expected to complete the pre-course checklist and self-assessment CD prior to the start of the course. It is recommended that students review and study any area identified for remediation by this self-assessment test. Two to four weeks of study time is recommended prior to the course start date.
