CAMP 117 - Mini Bakers (Gr. 5-6)


Course Description
Perfect for the little baking enthusiast and junior foodie. For half of the day, you’ll have fun learning your way around a bakery: rolling, shaping, baking and decorating delicious goodies. The remainder of the day will be filled with on-campus recreational activities with your new Mini Baker buddies.

Essential skills: Numeracy, Reading, Working with others

DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS: All participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes with a good tread; no sandals or open-toe shoes permitted in the kitchens. Long pants are required to be worn in the kitchens; no shorts, capris or low-cut tops. Campers are not permitted to wear nail polish for the duration of this camp. Campers with long hair should ensure that they bring hair elastics to tie back their hair.

SAFETY NOTE: Campers are required to adhere to the safety precautions outlined by the instructors; safety infractions may lead to removal from the camp.

ALLERGY ALERT: Camp includes the preparation of foods containing nuts. SAIT’s kitchens and bakeries process nuts and other allergens.

  • For youth entering grades 5 or 6 in September.
  • Register using your child’s name.
  • Registration for this program closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the program begins. Late registrations will not be accepted..
