PDEV 190 - Preceptor Training

Course Description
Preceptor Training introduces concepts from the preceptor model which are central to the needs of novice and intermediate preceptors. Concepts such as the role of preceptors, communication barriers and conflict management strategies will be examined. In addition, a basic overview on adult education theory, motivating learners, organizing learning experiences, learner facilitation and assessment methods will be provided.
