CAMP 183 - Movie Making Magic (Gr. 7-9) Course Description Roll out the red carpet for your mini-movie premiere! Start out with the basics and later dive into the fundamental concepts of visual story telling combined with the technical skills involved in shooting, acting and directing. Spend time as a director, lighting technician, camera operator, editor and to create a short film that will be premiered at the end of the camp.
Essential skills: Continuous learning, Digital technology, Working with others
NOTE: Basic computer skills required.
NOTE: This is a two-week camp.
- For youth entering grades 7, 8 or 9 in September.
- Register using your child’s name.
- Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
- Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
