PTOP 250 - Production Field Operations Level A

Course Description
SAIT Polytechnic’s Production Field Operations Level A course includes 26 modules which provide an overview of exploration and discovery, field production, characteristics and hazards, basic instrumentation and basic economics. This course consists of a theory component and knowledge self-assessments (quizzes and final exam.) It is delivered in an interactive, self-paced, online format supported by phone, email and in-person (at SAIT Calgary) access to dedicated, industry-experienced tutors.

Who Will Benefit From This Course? SAIT Production Field Operations courses (Level A-D) are designed for junior-to-intermediate operators and will benefit any operator requiring foundational knowledge in oil and gas field operations. This training will be a valuable addition to operators seeking to upgrade their skills to further their professional development and career progression, and to prepare for subsequent on-the-job training within an operating environment.
