ARCH 107 - Guatemala Practicum

Course Description
Study tour to Panajachel, Guatemala for Architecture and Photojournalism students.

Architecture Students: Perform a preliminary design of a cultural center for Indigenous Mayans in Panajachel, Guatemala under the supervision of the instructor as requested by the local NGO Mayan Families (mayanfamilies.org).

Photojournalism students: Develop written and visual content for use in promoting Mayan Families. This content will be used on the NGO’s website for fundraising and promotion of its programs.
