SCMP 164 - 2D Game Design, Intermediate (Gr. 7-9)

Course Description
Take your own 2D video game to the next level with easy-to-use
software. Campers will create a side-scrolling video game complete with sound effects, obstacles, power-ups and so much more! Expand on concepts to challenge yourself as a designer and develop your own game to take home.
Essential Skills: Digital technology, Numeracy, Working with others

NOTE: Basic computer skills required

NOTE: Experience with GameMaker Studio or JavaScript would prove an asset.

For youth entering grades 7, 8 or 9 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
