RESP 101 - Neonatal Resuscitation Course Description The Neonatal Resuscitation Program presents an evidence-based approach for resuscitating newborns. Topics include the principles and initial steps of resuscitation, the use of resuscitation devices, alternate airways, chest compressions, medication post-resuscitation care, special considerations and ethics and care at end of life.

Additional Requisite Information: Note: Students must pass the Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) online examination with a minimum of 80% within 30 days prior to taking this course. Proof of successful completion (verification of completion certificate) must be presented at the beginning of this neonatal resuscitation course.
