MNGT 205 - Program Management - An Overview Course Description To remain competitive in today’s business environment, organizations are undertaking large, complex, strategic initiatives that may introduce enterprise-wide change. Individuals who can apply the knowledge, skills and principles of program management are needed to lead and oversee numerous related projects in the delivery of these strategic initiatives. In this course, you will explore the framework, key performance domains and program activities of program management based on PMI®’s latest edition of The Standard for Program Management. You will examine program level activities that a program manager performs within the five interdependent performance domains of Program Strategy Alignment, Program Benefits Management, Program Stakeholder Engagement, Program Governance, and Program Life Cycle Management. Individuals seeking career progression in the field of project management will gain hands-on experience applying the principles and proven practices of effective program management.
