DMST 116 - Musculoskeletal Upper Body Ultrasound
Course Description
There is a high incidence of abnormalities for upper body structures and, as such, an ultrasound exam is frequently requested. Learners will be presented with the anatomy and abnormalities of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Through live demonstrations, learners will be shown how the transducer is maneuvered and how each image is produced. Opportunities for guided practice in groups will also be provided.
