SCMP 128 - Mobile App Development (Gr. 7-9)

Course Description
There’s no better way to learn what those amazing mobile devices can do than by building an app for one. Learn the basics of how to design and build an app using easy-to-understand software. Discover how to keep a small app fun and easy to use, as well as how to script, construct and optimize the app for a variety of mobile devices. At the end of the camp, take home a completed app and gain experience in a fast-growing industry.
Essential Skills: Continuous learning, Digital technology, Thinking

NOTE: Basic computer skills required.

NOTE: Campers must bring their own smart phone or tablet to this camp.

For youth entering grades 7, 8 or 9 in September.
Register using your child’s name.
Registration for camp and lunch closes at 12:00pm (MST) on the Thursday before the camp begins. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
