PHOT 200 - Basic Photography

Course Description
This Basic Photography course has been extensively updated to ensure that students develop a firm foundation of knowledge and skills to help them become better photographers and to prepare them for more advanced courses.

You will develop a working knowledge of your single lens reflex digital camera through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on activities. Basic photography topics include: exposure control, composition, lenses, flash photography, filters, camera care and night photography. You must supply your own Digital SLR camera.

This course is available online as well as on campus and is part of SAIT’s Photography Certificate of Achievement.
