LAND 160 - Land Contract Analysis
Course Description
This course expands on the knowledge associated with three to five years’ experience as a Petroleum Land Administrator and further prepares the administrator to complete the tasks associated with contract analysis, including: understand fully the life cycle of a contract; interpret various contracts and associated documents; an in-depth review of the articles and clauses of the CAPL Operating Procedure most commonly encountered; construct a detailed Chain of Title; interpret and evaluate Independent Operations Notices and Rights of First Refusal; and be able to apply this knowledge to record keeping and decision making
