CPNT 204 - Intro. to Administering Windows and Linux Servers Course Description This course introduces you to the basics of administering a network server. Using the Windows 2012 server and Linux operating systems you will learn several administering skills for both, including how to: manage users and groups, examine and interpret logs, create user disk quotas, institute secure password rules, check and repair directory permissions, set user environments, control startup, and manage processes. Some ability to work at the command line is required.
This course is part of the Server Administration Certificate of Achievement.
