CADD 102 - Revit MEP Fundamentals Course Description This course introduces you to the basics of the Revit MEP software platform for Building Information Modeling (BIM). It is designed to teach the concepts and principles of creating 3D parametric models of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) systems from engineering through construction documentation. You will learn to work with the Autodesk Revit interface and manipulate MEP components using the System Browser. You will also become familiarized with drawing and editing tools required to create, modify and print the mechanical, electrical and plumbing 3D models. Ultimately, this course will provide guidelines to create smart 3D drawings specializing in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems.

- Previous experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software is recommended

Windows 7 or higher is required to run this software; all students are responsible for ensuring that their computer and software meet the minimum requirements.
