Course Description
This course is designed for anyone wanting to learn how to inspect, test and perform maintenance on portable fire extinguishers, as outlined in the Alberta Fire Code 2014.

You will gain a comprehensive understanding of this key suppression tool in fire systems.

Per Alberta Fire Code 2014, only qualified persons shall install, test or perform maintenance on portable extinguishers. Persons are considered qualified when they have acquired an approved certificate of training from a public post-secondary educational institution, and they own or are employed by a certified fire extinguisher shop.
