INST 160 - Advanced Measurement and Calibration
Course Description
This course presents in depth exploration of process measurement and calibration. Topic in this course include; the terminology of process measurement, the science of measurement (metrology), linear type flow meters including magnetic, turbine, vortex, ultrasonic, positive displacement and mass flow meters; and sophisticated level sensors such as nuclear, ultrasonic, radar, capacitive, magnetostrictive devices. Learners will acquire experience with these measurement devices through hands on laboratory exercises.
