CPRG 201 - .NET Development I

Course Description
This course provides an introduction to the Microsoft .NET Framework and the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment. You will learn basic programming skills using both C# and Visual Basic .NET programming languages. We will examine the major .NET programming data and control structures as well as object-oriented development fundamentals.

As an introductory course, this training is intended as the starting point for the entire .NET program. Students should have some computer programming experience, otherwise you are encouraged to take “Introduction to Programming in C” (CMPP-205), before enrolling in .NET Development I. This course is also the starting point for experienced developers (with or without .NET) simply looking to update their skills and knowledge in the latest version of the .NET platform.

This course is part of the .NET Development Certificate of Achievement.
