MNTN 101 - Equipment Maintenance
Course Description
This course provides an introduction to the safe use and maintenance of equipment associated with pipeline operating systems. You will learn about pipeline surface facilities, filtration systems, pumps/compressors and the equipment used to mitigate environmental impacts and protect personnel. You will also study about the pipeline header and pigging systems, application of pumps and compressors, evaluation of a pipeline filter system. At the end of the course you will be able to recommend the appropriate type of chemical pump to be used for a specific situation.
