EAMG 002 - Joint Ventures

Course Description
This course provides students the fundamental concepts of Joint Venture Development and Operations, and in-depth knowledge of important Joint Venture Agreements used in the Oil and Gas industry. Students will gain an understanding of the strategic elements of Joint Ventures and how they are utilized in the Oil and Gas industry. Also students will learn how to implement these strategies through the use of Joint Venture Agreements. In particular, learning key concepts associated with forming, implementing and administering units in oil and gas pools. The course will also focus extensively on Construction Ownership and Operating Agreements (CO&O), their use, technical and operational issues, and the ongoing administration associated with this type of agreement. Additionally, the course will provide students the opportunity to examine and understand various types of Service and Fluid Handling Agreements commonly in use in joint venture operations.
