RREG 109 - Track Inspection Level II

Course Description
This full day track inspection course is intended for rail personnel responsible for basic inspection, reporting on complex track installation including monthly track inspections and turnout inspections. Upon successful completion of this training you will understand and be able to interpret and apply track rules to the inspection of track, record defects and take remedial action.

If there are switches and more than one track present in your operation, you will require Level ll Certification.

Track Inspection Level II content includes Basic Track Inspection Level I plus the following:

Inspect switches
Inspect frogs
Inspect guard rails
Inspect derails
Review switch inspection form
Turnout inspections
